Description

The factory is being designed as an eco friendly building that copes with the hot and arid climate of the town of Karur. Using a combination of active and passive cooling techniques like venturi effect, tunnel effect, evaporative and radiant cooling. The structure is designed using old sturctural elements, techniques and materials but in a contemporary setting. Adobe earth blocks, jack arches, Aathangudi tiles, pre cast ferroconcrete structures and jaali walls are some of the elements used in the space.
