Description
Like any other commercial building, this place started out as a dull and dark space with large columns, deep beams, and little light. The brief was to create a cafe that feels warm and inviting and a good place to hang out as much during the day as in the night. A number of windows were created to open up the place and bring in more light. The large openings, planters, pinewood cladding and delicate MS framework for glazing all add to the charm of the place.

The USP of the brand, of course, is the various brands of bottled beer from all around the world. This is highlighted by providing a logo wall as a feature with a recycled Oriented strand board backdrop. And beer is highlighted everywhere from the bottle crowns that adorn all the internal doors creating interesting graphic art to the bottles are used as a backlit feature wall that forms an attraction in this space. An illusionary ‘well of beer bottles’ also takes the center stage as a community table for large groups. A small stage with makeshift furniture provides a platform for gigs over the weekend.
